WEATHER
It is expected to be cold on Sunday with temperatures forecast between 0°C at the start and 6°C during the day. Conditions are expected to be dry, partly sunny and windy. The weather change will begin on Saturday afternoon. Forecasts will become more reliable as the race approaches. Prepare yourself for it. Think about what to wear and take with you to the race.
- Pack dry clothes, a hat and gloves in your wardrobe bag for afterwards.
- Keep warm at the start, e.g. with old clothes that you can leave behind or with a large rubbish bag that you put on. - The MA 48 collects leftover textiles for recycling.
- Put on several layers so that you can take something off during the run.
- Drink consciously at the refreshment points. You will feel less thirsty in the cold. You still need fluids and electrolytes.
- At the finish, we will hand out plastic ponchos on request.
- After leaving the finish line area, we will hand out warm tea together with the Red Cross.
HEALTH: CHECK!
- If you have acute health problems, get a medical check-up.
- The VCM Medical Centre under the direction of Dr Robert Fritz from Sportordination will be at your disposal on Friday and Saturday at Vienna Sports World.
- Use the back of your race number to provide important information.
