On 2 March we are organising your dress rehearsal for the Vienna City Marathon:
- Vienna Calling Half Marathon - Start Reichsbrücke
- 5 km & 10 km - start & finish Prater Hauptallee
Look forward to an inspiring event at the 3rd VCM Winter Run. The half marathon starts at 8:30 am on the Reichsbrücke ad offers a fantastic foretaste of the Vienna City Marathon five weeks later.
The finish line is in the Prater Hauptallee. The 5 km and 10 km races start exactly there at 11.30 am.
We are using once again the fantastic grounds of the Rugby Union Donau Wien as the home base for the event.

Entry is possible as long as starting places are available, no longer than Thursday, 27 February 2025.
All finishers will receive a doughnut at the finish (while stocks last). We are very happy if you come dressed up & costumed, because it is the highlight of the carnival.
A food truck from RAW Energy will be on site with bowls and drinks. For ‘VCM winter runners’ there is a 2,- Euro discount on site.

Are you already on the starting list for the Vienna City Marathon or Wiener Städtische Half Marathon 2025? Then register for the 3rd VCM Winter Run by 16 February 2025. You will automatically be entered into the prize draw for 100 free starting places. We will notify the winners and refund the entry fee for the winter run before the competition.

All events of the VCM Winter Running Series are officially AIMS-measured and part of the World Athletics Global Calendar.
