The VCM Saturday will be great!
We are already looking forward to VCM Saturday, 5 April 2025! The Coca-Cola Inclusion Run over 800 metres invites everyone with and without special needs to take part. ‘Together!’ is the motto that applies to this run and all other events.
We organise The Daily Mile 800 and The Daily Mile 1600 runs especially for children and young people. Named after the running initiative The Daily Mile, in which almost 100 schools throughout Austria are already taking part, the atmosphere at the VCM finish line is simply rousing.
The fastest schools are honoured at the GÖD Schul Trophy. Anyone who wants to can simply take part without being timed. The fun of running and the community experience take centre stage.
The Vienna 5K is all about running and walking on the Ringstraße around the city centre. Even with a pushchair, wheelchair - or really fast. Exercise for everyone in the heart of Vienna: this run has developed into a great event. Let's go & let's run!
For members of the 'Vorteilsclub der Stadt Wien' (City of Vienna Benefits Club) at the Vienna 5K there are these discounts:
Kickstart offer: 25% discount on the first 100 registrations for adults
After that: 20% discount on starting places for adults
The discount cannot be redeemed retroactively on existing registrations.
New event for the youngest runners
We are particularly looking forward to a premiere. Together with Johann Strauss 2025 Wien, we are creating a new category for all runners aged 3-6 - the 'Fledermauslauf' (bat run). 200 metres on the Ringstraße, dressed up as a bat or with make-up, awaken the youngest runners' urge to move.
All successful young runners will receive a plush bat from Johann Strauss 2025 Wien at the finish line as a fluttering memento of this special running experience.
The occasion: The VCM celebrates the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss together with the City of Vienna. The ‘Fledermaus’ (the bat) is known to be the Waltz King's top operetta. The anniversary of the world première is on 5 April.
